ONE ORGANISATION, TWO COMPETITIONS
UK Pub Pool exists to give pub and club players competitions worth entering. We created Golden 8 Ball, and we own and run BAPTO. Both sit under the same organisation, the same officials and the same standard of play.
That means one point of contact for venues, sponsors and the press, and consistency for players across everything we stage.
WE OWN THE COMPETITIONS
Golden 8 Ball and BAPTO are ours outright — format, rules and calendar are set and maintained in-house.
WE RUN THEM OURSELVES
Entries, draws, refereeing and results are handled by our own team rather than contracted out.
BUILT AROUND THE PUB GAME
Both competitions are designed for players whose home table is in a pub or club, not a dedicated venue.

GOLDEN 8 BALL
Our own creation, and the competition the company is best known for. Golden 8 Ball was built from scratch by UK Pub Pool and is run entirely by us.

BAPTO
BAPTO is owned and run by UK Pub Pool. It operates alongside Golden 8 Ball under the same team, with its own identity and calendar.
